Dana Riechman
International Programming Administrator & Advisor
Dana’s role since 2016 as International Student Programming Administrator & Advisor comprises outreach and the development of programs and partnerships across the Institute to help international students acclimate to the U.S. and MIT. In addition, she advises students in SHASS (School of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences) and supervises two graduate fellows that assist with events & communications, including our social media and weekly newsletter. Previously, she served as an international student advisor at Boston College for four years. She earned her Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations at Lesley University while also working at the MIT International Scholars Office and MIT Spouses & Partners Connect. Originally from South Carolina, she holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in German and Communication Studies from the College of Charleston, during which she studied and lived abroad in Germany, South Africa, France, & Austria. For fun she enjoys traveling, singing/playing guitar, and dancing Brazilian Zouk, a Latin partner dance that no one’s really heard of, yet…
