ISO Walk-In Hours (for urgent situations)
Mondays: 10:00am-3:00pm
Tuesdays: 10:00am-3:00pm
Wednesdays: 1:00pm-3:00pm
Thursdays: 10:00am-3:00pm
Fridays: 10:00am-3:00pm

The ISO operates from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm but has limited walk-in hours where students can come to the office for urgent situations. ISO Staff is available Monday to Friday by email (iso-help@mit.edu) or phone (617-253-3795).

How to contact staff outside of walk-in hours:

*ISO Advisors will continue to conduct appointments remotely via Zoom and can be reached by email and by phone. 
**Visa documents will continue to be requested and processed online via iMIT, and the documents will be sent to students electronically.
***Orientation and programming will be offered online and in-person.

We encourage that paper mail not be sent to the ISO, but rather that you consult with your ISO Advisor first before mailing any documentation to the ISO (it may be preferred that documentation be scanned/emailed to your ISO Advisor).

The International Students Office does not answer questions regarding international student admissions, degree programs, billing, financial aid, and housing. Please refer to those MIT offices to find the quickest answers to your questions.
